Synopsis: Following the events and aftermath of season one and their fight with Trigon, Dick Grayson takes Jason Todd, Gar, and Rachel and forms a new team at Titan tower in San Francisco to train and hone their skills as a team.

The ghosts and history of the original Titans come back to haunt our young group of aspiring heroes. We get to see familiar faces from the first season and some new and exciting faces, both good and bad.

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, I know I was for lack of a better word, harsh, on the first season, because of themes and creative choices the developers of the show took. I STILL STICK TO MY GUNS ON IT. This season the show went out of its way to correct a lot of those issues and it was noticed. The actual whole them of the show felt different and didn't feel like I walked into a HotTopic and got slapped with by teen angst.

The first season was filmed with a weird filter to try and make it seem darker and it detracted from the show and made it feel hokey. This season they steered away from that and leaned into some actual story telling. I like the direction they took with every single character (yes even Starfire, even though she still shouldn't shoot flame throwers)

This season took a lot of time to feel out each of the characters and actually give reasons to why they do what they do. It also made sure to take its time to develop and mature the characters so that they grow on you while actually trying this go around to stick closer to their comic book counterparts.

I can honestly say coming off of a horrible (to me) season 1, they bounced back with a vengeance and looked like they took the time to get an understanding of the source material and what the fans actually wanted. Which made me rate this a solid 9 out of 10. We got to see the characters we wanted, the story line moved in a logical direction and was handled with the care that the Titans deserve.

I can't wait to see what they do with season 3. With the way they left off on this season I only have high hopes. You can watch DC Titans on the new HBOMAX streaming service. I hope you enjoyed my review and get a chance to watch the show. Please join us on the next podcast and stay caught up with our reviews and game plays. As always nerds we will see you on the otherside.
